a tri-fold brochure delivered to guests’ rooms the night before the 2023 NAR NXT event.
homes.com attended the nar nxt event in 2023, which is one of the largest realtor conferences in the country every year. to promote homes.com’s attendance at the event, we released a series of emails and ads leading up to and during the event. we also designed two large event booths and other misc. branding material, branded ten buses around the city, produced a room drop brochure, and branded an after party event.
a lot of things went into the rhyme and reason for this piece, and molded its end-result. though this project required a fast turn-around time, i knew there was a way to produce something that was quick to produce on the printer’s side of things while not compromising the visual quality. fairly quickly, i knew i wanted a tri-fold brochure with a twist… so i wanted to include a die-cut to make the piece more interesting. as i concepted and finalized the design, we realized that the die-cut edge would unfortunately take the vender too long. in order to find a happy medium, i decided to eliminate the die-cut edge on the front panel and instead, create a shortened, straight-edge panel. by doing this, it wouldn’t increase the labor or time from a production standpoint and it would still give a similar layered appearance as the original concept.
